The Fuchs Friends internet support group sponsored an educational symposium in Atlanta, GA. This was a highly informative seminar of interest to individuals suffering from Fuchs' Endothelial Dystrophy. It was also of interest to their families and their doctors.

    9:30 – 10:30   Henry Edelhauser, Ph.D. - corneal endothelial research at Emory University

    10:30 – 10:45Break

    10:45 – 11:45      Alan Kozarsky, M.D. – Fuchs’ Dystrophy and corneal transplant techniques, including the new DLEK procedures

    11:45 – 12:15Bruce Varnum, CEO GA Eye Bank - eye banking

    12:15 – 1:00   Lunch

    1:00 – 2:00     “Ask the Experts panel”

 The panel of experts included the speakers and other invited guests.
