-
Peaked cap or wide-brimmed hat outdoors.
-
Tinted and non-reflective coated lenses.
- Wraparound sunglasses.
- For those who wake up in a
fog, try a hair dryer, on
very low, at arms-length,
directing air over your
eyes. Blink rapidly to
assist the moisture to the
surface.
- Don't ever use any
steroids such as
hydrocortisone; they reduce
your ability to move fluid
out of the eye.
- Get a very accurate count
of corneal endothelial cells
in each eye. This can
be done photographically at
Stanford and probably at UC
Irvine or any other good
teaching hospital if
requested by your doctor.
- Commercial Eye drops
(Murine, Visine, etc.) should
not be used except at the
direction of your doctor.
- Muro 128 eyedrops and/or
ointment is a saline mixture
that seems to aid in reducing
the blurriness in the morning.
