Fuchs' Friends offers sharing and caring. Members have said their life improved after learning the group's coping techniques (not the least of
which is honing our sense of humor). Many say they are not as scared out of their minds
as they were before they found us. All of us can still remember how upset and scared and frustrated we were after diagnosis. We who faced the transplant were encouraged and calmed by stories of members who already had the surgery.
